The Seattle Eastside Real Estate Stats are in for Dec 2010 and the numbers are still proving to show a real estate market on the mend and maintaining through the toughest real estate months of the year.
- 2010 beats 2009 for residential closed sales – up 13% for the year (5,322 vs. 4,705)
- November and December pending sales are strong- both beat the prior year. Months supply of inventory dropped below an average of 6. (Overall balanced market.)
- Although interest rates are still near historic lows, they have been heading up. So are those unbelievably low home loan rates behind us for good? Economists believe that rates may see a brief and fleeting improvement here or there, but many experts believe that the overall trend will continue – meaning home loan rates will creep up as we progress through 2011.
